Welcome to the 16th Nuclear Data for Science and Technology Conference
We would like to announce the 16th Nuclear Data for Science and Technology Conference (ND2025), to be held in Madrid (Spain) from June 22nd to 27th, 2025.
ND2025 will be the largest nuclear data event in 2025 and the 16th edition of a series of successful conferences held every three years since 1978, most recently in Bruges, Belgium (ND2016), Beijing, China (ND2019), and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, USA (ND2022). It will bring together international experts involved in measurements, validation, evaluation and uses of nuclear data for scientific and technological applications. All relevant information will be announced at www.nd2025madrid.com.
ND2025 is being organised by the Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnólogicas – CIEMAT, with a strong support of the Spanish nuclear physics community. The conference will take place at the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding hotel, one of the iconic hotels in the heart of the city’s financial district and considered one of the best accommodations for leisure and business in Madrid.
The conference will cover a broad range of topics on nuclear data:
- Nuclear reaction measurements.
- Nuclear structure.
- Facilities & instruments.
- Sample preparation.
- Fission and spallation.
- Nuclear data for reactors (thermal & fast, ADS, SMR, MSR, ATF).
- Nuclear fusion.
- Nuclear astrophysics and space applications.
- Medical applications.
- Nuclear waste management.
- Criticality safety.
- Isotope production.
- Nuclear theory.
- Monte Carlo simulation.
- Machine learning.
- Nuclear data evaluation.
- Standards.
- Integral experiments and validation.
- Dissemination.
- Education, training and outreach.
The conference in Madrid (Spain) offers also the chance to explore this vibrant capital known for its rich cultural heritage, dynamic urban life, and legendary nightlife.
