Code of Conduct for ND2025
At ND2025, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring environment for participants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Whether you are an attendee, speaker, sponsor, volunteer, or organizer, your contributions make this a vibrant and enriching event.
Our Shared Values
- Respect: We treat one another with kindness, professionalism, and openness to different viewpoints, cultures, identities, abilities and disciplines.
- Curiosity: We foster a spirit of learning and inquiry, encouraging thoughtful discussion and the respectful exchange of ideas.
- Collaboration: We support one another in building connections, sharing knowledge, and advancing collective goals.
Creating a Positive Environment
To support these values, we ask all participants to:
- Engage in constructive and respectful dialogue.
- Be mindful of language, tone, and behavior that could alienate or harm others.
- Honor personal boundaries and ask for consent when appropriate (e.g., before taking photos).
- Listen actively and make space for voices that may be underrepresented.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity in professional and academic interactions.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
Harassment of any kind—including discriminatory remarks, intimidation, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome attention, or offensive imagery—is not tolerated. We are committed to addressing any concerns promptly and respectfully.
If You Need Support
All reports will be handled with discretion and care. We are here to support you. Proven violations of this Code of Conduct may result in consequences ranging from a verbal warning to removal from the conference without refund. These measures will be applied with discretion and in alignment with the severity of the issue.
Together, We Make the Conference
Thank you for helping to create a respectful, and enriching experience for all. Your presence and participation are what make ND2025 truly exceptional.
